When I first started dating Diana, I remember going to her home in northern Minnesota for the first time. On two different occasions, while we were praying before a meal, her dad asked 1) "What's your name again?" and 2) called me Bob during a prayer. Bob was her old boyfriend. Boy, did I feel special!

When I was about 10 years old, the Fox (my maternal grandfather) and Nana lived in Farmington. The house was in a 'subdivision' that was on a circular road about a mile or so long. I remember the Unc asking me if I knew how to drive a stick. I don't remember my answer but it was probably, No. He then threw the keys to his VW Bug to me, told me how to do it and said to go learn. I remember his words as I walked away were, "Don't break it!" I must have gone around that subdivision 5 times. It was great. No doing something like that these days.
